Suspensions or Neck Lifts
Some people as they age, don't like the appearance of their necks and they don't want a complete facelift. To achieve an improvement below the jaw line and even some improvement of the jowls a neck lift can be done.
Neck suspension requires a small incision on the neck below the chin, under and behind each ear lobe.
Liposuction is carried out in the heavier necks, the muscles are approximated in the midline, and at the mid point of the neck, sutures are passed through to the sides and are tied behind the ears to create a more prominent jaw line. These suspension lifts can be performed with a brow and mid face-lift for a total facial rejuvenation. |
