Exoderm Chemical Peels

This a is a highly effective treatment that involves the application of an exclusively formulated solution that removes the surface layer of the facial skin. This unique solution also stimulates and realigns the underlying collagen and elastic fibers, generating a new, internally lifted skin. This as a non- surgical face lift, with no cutting or stitching. A peel help numerous skin situations, including: premature aging, severe facial wrinkles and skin laxity, Acne scars and poor skin quality.

This is an 8 day process.
Our cosmetic surgeons do the phenol peels the first day and then send you home in a mask made of tape. During the night, the skin liquefies. You come back on day 2 and the tape is removed and a green powder mask is applied. This mask will harden over the next few days. You do not remove it until day 8. It inhibits your ability to eat solid food and washing your hair will not be possible. On day 8 you come to the office and the mask is removed to reveal your new face. This will take a couple of hours.

The advantage to this form of facial resurfacing is that there is no after care during the 8 day recovery period. You are not as red for as long of a period of time as you are with a laser. You can begin to wear makeup on your 10th day.

THE RESULTS ARE REMARKABLE!
The ideal candidate for this procedure is someone with moderate to deep wrinkles, someone who has wrinkles at rest. The peel is performed under a general anesthesia.
